The following questions were created to help assist you in finding quality entertainment for your event or wedding.

1. How many years of experience do you have?

A reputable disc jockey should have references, professional equipment as well as experience with your type of event. L&L has provided DJ services in the Metro Atlanta Area since 1982. Interactive skits are available upon request and crowd motivation is always present. Today's music entertainment field demands the DJ to be an entertainer not just a disc spinner.

2. Do you use professional gear?

The DJ you choose should have professional gear to ensure the highest quality sound and entertainment for your event. All equipment used by L&L is of professional grade. With a digital CD sound system, the music is clear, concert quality at any volume level. I have a wireless microphone and a light show can be provided upon request. All equipment is mounted in a free standing illuminated podium and fits into any room configuration neatly. There is no exposed wiring, cables or components to detract from the rooms appearance and atmosphere.

3. Will there be an emergency back-up system at our event?

Your wedding or event is an investment and should be protected. L&L has a back-up system in case of an emergency situation.

4. May we call your references?

It is a good idea to ask for references upon your first meeting with your prospective DJ. L&L will be happy to give you recent names of satisfied customers that you can contact for references.

5. Are you insured?

Any legitimate mobile disc jockey business should have insurance. Liability and casualty policies will protect your event investment and your guests from unforeseen circumstances.

6. How will you be dressed?

The way your DJ is dressed (according to the type of event), reflects a certain image to your guests. L&L will dress in a tuxedo for your wedding unless you request otherwise. For other events, proper attire will be worn.

7. Will we be assured to have a DJ on the day of our event?

You should require a written contract for your wedding or event. L&L provides a written contract which guarantees professional entertainment on the day of your event. Be sure to book well in advance to assure your special date will be available.

8. How early will you be to set up?

A DJ should to arrive early so music can begin as soon as or before your event starts. L&L arrives well in advance to set up for your event and perform a sound check.

9. Will you allow requests?

With any DJ, requests should be welcomed. However, if a requested song seems inappropriate, a good DJ should be able to explain why that selection can't be played and offer or ask for an alternative selection. L&L has yesterdays music as well as the TOP 40 of today. Special songs are never a problem. Due to my membership with various associations, hard to find music is never a problem. Every client will always hear their requested, "special meaning" songs.

10. Do you belong to any professional DJ associations?

Just as any other profession requires periodic training and updates, so does a competitive DJ. L&L Music attends monthly meeting and yearly conventions to keep abreast of the latest in music and technology and is a member of the Georgia Mobile Disc Jockey Association (GMDJA) and the National Association of Mobile Entertainers (NAME). L&L has provided DJ services in the Metro Atlanta Area since 1982.
