Master of Ceremonies - Emcee

 

An informal meeting, face to face, will ensure that everything will run smoothly and that you can be worry free during your reception. L&L provides free consultation to help you with the reception details and answer questions during your planning process. L&L will be in appropriate attire and will act as Master of Ceremonies to coordinate all the events during your reception if you desire. L&L will make all introductions and any other announcements necessary to enhance your wedding reception.

 

-	Introduction of the new couple and wedding party as they enter the reception area
-	Informal intermingling with the guests to inspire crowd motivation
-	Toast by the best man or other party (and any other toasts requested) shortly before the wedding party is served or before the cake cutting
-	Announcements for the buffet or sit down lunch or dinner. If a buffet, the line should start with the bride, followed by the groom, the maid of honor, best man, attendants, parents and guests. If a sit down, the bridal party's table is located where it can best be viewed by the guests with the bridal couple in the middle. Tapping of a crystal glass announces that the bride and groom should kiss (background music by will be played during the meal)
-	First dance by bride and groom alone
-	Second dance by bride and her father
-	Third dance by groom and his mother
-	Other special dances upon request
-	Open dancing for all guests
-	Cake cutting (usually directed by the photographer)
-	Bouquet and garter toss will be directed by the DJ
-	More dancing if time allows and any other special arrangements
-	Departure of the bride and groom
